True double-conversion means your load never touches the grid directly. Every watt delivered to your equipment is continuously regenerated by the inverter — filtered, stabilized, and isolated from voltage fluctuations, surges, brownouts, and frequency instability. In the event of mains failure or a bypass transition, the switch is 0ms, completely invisible to every connected device.
Built for the world’s most demanding grid conditions. With an input voltage range of 138–485VAC and a frequency window of 40–70Hz, this UPS operates reliably on weak grids, generator-backed supplies, and international voltages (380/400/415VAC) without derating. Input power factor exceeds 0.99 and input current harmonic distortion stays below 3% on non-linear loads, protecting upstream infrastructure and ensuring clean power draw throughout.

Compared to older-generation UPS architectures, the RM50 400 achieves up to 96% efficiency in normal online mode, reducing heat output, lowering cooling costs, and cutting electricity bills at scale. Over the lifetime of a 400KVA installation, this efficiency advantage translates into meaningful operational savings.
Modular architecture means maximum uptime during maintenance. Each 50KW power module is hot-swappable — you can insert, remove, or replace modules with the system fully energized. This eliminates planned maintenance windows entirely and reduces mean time to repair to minutes. Up to 8 modules populate the RM50 400 cabinet, and the system supports parallel configurations for N+1 or N+X redundancy as your criticality requirements grow.
Intelligent overload handling protects your loads gracefully. Rather than cutting out abruptly under overload, the system manages stepped overload conditions: sustaining 110% load for up to 60 minutes, 125% for 10 minutes, and 150% for 1 minute before transitioning to bypass — giving connected equipment time to shed load or shut down safely.
Flexible battery configuration for any runtime requirement. Battery string count is selectable from 30 to 50 units, with corresponding DC bus voltages from ±180VDC to ±300VDC. This lets you precisely tune backup runtime to your application, from short bridging intervals in generator-backed facilities to extended autonomy in standalone protection scenarios. Per-module charging current reaches 20A maximum.
Enterprise communication and monitoring as standard. The RM50 400 includes CAN bus, RS-485, a dedicated network port, dry contact port, parallel port, LBS port, intelligent expansion slot, and temperature sensor port. Optional SNMP integration enables full remote monitoring and management through network management platforms, building management systems, and web browsers across Windows, Linux, and Mac environments.
Comprehensive protection functions built in. Short circuit, overload, over-temperature, output over/under-voltage, battery undervoltage, fan fault, bypass flow backward, and lightning surge protection are all included as standard. Alarm functions cover mains abnormal events, overload conditions, UPS fault states, and battery undervoltage warnings — keeping your operations team informed before a problem becomes a failure.
